KUOE KYOTO

Founded by Kenji Uchimura in 2020, the idea behind KUOE is a rather simple one: to share the appeal of classic watch designs with the world. The idea for KUOE began when its founder was in London for study abroad. After seeing vintage watch designs for sale, he wanted to revive these classic looks with modern manufacturing techniques and movements. He began working for a watch company in Kyoto after graduation, and in 2020 created KUOE as an independent brand.

While beginning as a crowdfunding attempt for a single watch model, KUOE now has nine watch models in production. All of which are hand assembled in house in Kyoto, Japan using Japanese movements.
