1870 CE

The 1870 CE (Classic Enamel) is constructed using the same timeless techniques – a traditionally crafted Grand Feu enamel dial, thermal blued hands and hand-finished movement decoration – as the original Cornell Watch Company railroad pocket watches of the 1870s, while offering the modern precision of a 33-jewel Schwarz Etienne ASE 200 automatic movement with a micro-rotor and 86-hour power reserve. This 39mm model is crafted from a mix of brushed and polished stainless steel and is hand assembled, rigorously tested and warrantied by the RGM Watch Company.

The Cornell Watch Company donates a portion of proceeds for every 1870 CE sold to scholarships for American watchmaking students offered through the Horological Society of New York – the country’s oldest watchmaking guild, and a 501(c)(3) charity that supports the advancement of watchmaking through education.
