The Springfield 074

We often like to describe the concept of Vortic watches as “a beautiful clash of old and new,” and The Springfield 074 truly represents that objective. We’ve found and restored a stunning 1920 Illinois Watch Company pocket watch and brought it into the 21st century as a wearable piece of history — with a little something special. Our watchmaker and resident Lume expert, Kent, has painstakingly adorned the numerals and hands with Super Luminova, a modern — and much safer — version of the luminous paint that originally adorned many of the pocket watches from the early 20th century.
