This policy explains what information Windup Watch Fair (“Windup,” “we”) collects when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Windup is produced by Worn & Wound.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus basic analytics about how the site is used:
- Newsletter sign-ups — your email address.
- Giveaway entries — your name, email address, and ZIP code.
- Press & media requests — your name, email, phone number, outlet/company, website, content platform, audience size, the cities you're interested in, and anything you write in the message field.
- Analytics — if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to collect standard, aggregated usage data (pages viewed, general location, device/browser). IP addresses are anonymized, and this only runs after you consent.
- A preference cookie — a small cookie (
wuf_city) that remembers which fair city you last viewed. It sets no analytics or advertising data.
How we use it
- To reply to press and media requests and issue credentials.
- To send you the newsletter and information about Worn & Wound events, if you opted in.
- To administer giveaways and contact winners.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and communicate with you:
- Klaviyo — email delivery (newsletter, giveaway, press emails).
- Google Analytics — website analytics (consent-based).
- Supabase — secure database and sign-in for our team.
- Vercel — website hosting.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.
Cookies & your choices
When analytics are enabled, you'll see a banner and can accept or decline. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can also change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message we send.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights. To make a request, email us at press@wornandwound.com.
Data retention
We keep the information you submit only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or until you ask us to remove it.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “last updated” date above.
